45. Charts. Jacob Aertsz Colom. 1662. The atlas appears very worn, the parchment is torn and breaks easily when touched. The text pages seem porous, the charts have come loose from the folds in several places and the folded charts are broken at the folds. Sponsorship DKK 22,800

46. Mercator & Hondius' hand-coloured atlas. Gerard Mercator and Jodocus Hondius. 1636. Cover and sheets are very worn, the cover is in two parts that are only attached to each other by a ribbon, the leather is worn away at the edges, revealing the body of the book. Sponsorship DKK 25,200

47. Johannes Mejer maps. 1630s. The lines on the 142 hand-drawn maps are made in iron gallic acid ink which destroys the rag paper. The maps should be removed from the acidiferous binding, conserved and mounted in acid-free passepartout or folders. Sponsorship DKK 220,000

48. Four maps of Denmark. Johannes Janssonius and Nicolaus J. Piscator. 1629-30. The maps appear rather worn. Missing illustrations are filled in with pencil and the maps are patched up - unfortunately with rather poor materials that mar the once rather beautiful prints.
