In 1857, the publishers Lose and Delbanco (also music publishers), together with C.G. Iversen, published, for the sixth time, a Danish folk calendar. It contained a mumber of short stories and pictures along with a survey of the days of the year. Each month is provided with little verses and sayings, for example about love, nature or the seasons of the year. “Dandse, dandse, Dukke min” is used for the month of July.
