Christian Kierkegaard (1806-1882) | 6. Kierkegaards familie og Regine Olsen Kierkegaard's family and Regine Olsen |
Kierkegaard". | Søren's second cousin was accepted at the art academy in 1824. Here he concentrated on drawing portraits, in which he gave private lessons and taught at the Army Cadet School from 1833 to 1861. His drawing of Søren was probably done to please his cousin Julie Kierkegaard by providing her with one of the family portraits she collected and pasted into her family album. On its title page an ornamental leaf motif frames the words "Remembrance pages for Julie A. Thomsen, née Kierkegaard." |
