Made for the Go-yatra ceremony, during which the gate to the Nepalese Heaven is opened. Only a cow is able, with its horns, to force the door of the Heaven slightly open so that the dead can squeeze themselves through. Go-yatra is performed on the first day of the dark moon in the month of sravana (in August).
