The Royal Library is approved according to the Assessment Act, section 8 A. This means:
That contributors to Preserve The Past can deduct up to 5,000 DKK a year in taxable income of contributions above DKK 500,-
That a Preserve The Past sponsorship - if wished - can be used as a present to others
That inheritance can be willed to the library, and Preserve The Past be exempted estate duty
