27. Buddhist travelling stories in Mongolian translation. 1708.
The stories contain the Maudgalyayana legend about the pious monk Molon Toyin who travels to the underworld in order to save his mother and on the way passes by the Buddhist hells - eight hot and eight cold - where the condemned have to suffer their punishment. Molon Toyin was one of Buddha's ten known disciples.
The stories are in block print in oblong format, printed in Beijing in 1708.
