Religious songs in German accompanied by music. The two copies are dedicated to Frederik III and Queen Sophie Amalie (1628-1685), respectively. The dedications are luxuriously made in purple silk with straw mosaic. Furthermore the books have gilt edges with coloured decorations. We do not know who presented these books to the King and Queen, but it is probably the same person who gave the King the copy of Discursus politicus … as the wording of the dedication is the same.

15.1 x 9.5 cm.
