This book contains the Book of Psalms from the Old Testament in Armenian, using the Armenian alphabet. The Royal Library holds two copies. It was printed in 1666 in Amsterdam where an Armenian printing office had been founded a few years earlier. This copy was sent from Leiden to Frederik III by the orientalist Theodor Petræus who has added a short dedication to the King. A few years before Petræus had presented the King with a manuscript of the Koran.
