This is the story about Pok, a Greenland boy who came to Copenhagen in 1724 and later returned home to recount his adventures – e.g. a procession on the canals where Pok paddled a kayak (see woodcut of the procession). This is the first book printed in the first permanent printing house in Greenland, established in Godthåb/Nuuk in 1857.
