This manuscript contains Eadmer’s Latin biography of Anselm (1033-1109), Archbishop of Canterbury in England, and Bernhard of Clairvaux’ biography of Malachias (1094-1148), Archbishop of Armagh in Ireland. On the first page of the manuscript the scribe is seen working in the initial Q and between the two columns a protracted bishop is placed on top of a downtrodden monk.
