The binding	Fol. 1r: Friar Knud’s note at the top: In the year of our Lord 1310 Friar Knud, provincial prior of the convent in Haderslev, bought this book with means bestowed by the Lord King of Norway (translated from latin)	Fol. 273r	Fol. 467r

Latin bible written in a very small hand on finely made parchment, decorated with initials illustrating biblical history. A note on the first sheet says that the book was bought by the head of the Dominican friars in Denmark and the other Northern countries, Friar Knud of the convent in Haderslev. On the last sheets of the book a number of additions give evidence of the Dominicans’ preaching activities.
The present binding is from the late Middle Ages.
