Latin bible written in a very small hand on finely made parchment, decorated with initials illustrating biblical history. A note on the first sheet says that the book was bought by the head of the Dominican friars in Denmark and the other Northern countries, Friar Knud of the convent in Haderslev. On the last sheets of the book a number of additions give evidence of the Dominicans’ preaching activities.
The present binding is from the late Middle Ages.
