Fragment of a Bible made at the request of Bishop Theodulf of Orleans who at the time of Charlemagne was in charge of the production of a number of uniform Bibles in one volume. The fragment consists of 40 leaves containing, i.a., the Book of Psalms, the Song of Songs, and the Book of Daniel. This is the oldest Bible manuscript of the Royal Library.
